For the latest model year, the Ford Escape’s hybrid powertrain is now available on the SE and SEL trims and comes standard on the top-tier Titanium trim. The 2021 Escape also gains an expanded array of safety equipment, adding adaptive cruise control and traffic sign recognition to the available Co-Pilot360 bundle of safety and driver assistance equipment.
A couple of equipment packages get some new additions for 2021, too: The Technology package now has memory settings for its driver’s seat and exterior mirrors and a hands-free power liftgate, while the Convenience package gains a 10-way power adjustable driver’s seat, a keyless entry keypad, and LED exterior lighting. The Titanium trim now offers a new 19-inch wheel design, and Escape models with the 2.0L turbo-4 engine can be equipped with a Class II Trailer Tow package.
